Back

Took over, from Henk PA0DSD a partly restaurated AN/TRC77 .

This set is very wanted and rare, hard to find. Henk really maked a friendly deal to me.

This set is CW RX TX and AM receive only. Was made in de sixties for special forces and was used in Vietnam en with the Dutch Special forces (KCT).It has 6 xtal controlled channels between 3 and 8 Mcs. TX output power 14 Watt and receiver power consumption only 15 to 20 mA

The radiopart ready for painting, already in primer.

The batterybox (BB-447/TRC-77)  and the cover (CW 619/TRC-77) have to restaurate completely.

Need a batterybox for a friend of my in Tonawanda, so if anyone know this item for sale then we can make him very happy.

Complete set overview

After painting with RAL 6014 paint and putting on the white lettering again, I can put all the parts together again, find at a dumpstore the original headset H140 and the J-45 key was already in my possession.

The Dutch modificate the antenna plug for a BNC connector (mine above)

Down picture is a original type.

Here an older model AN/TRC77 without A, watch headset connection.

With bnc ant. connector. Also Dutch KCT ?? or not original.
