WS-62 in Auster aircraft
The Pye Wireless set no 62 is a low power HF transceiver, designed to operate with a 12 VDC power supply.
Manufactured for both military and civil operation and used as an fixed or mobile station
For military communications it is used by British and Australian army as:
Vehiclecommunication
Man-pack/Animal pack station
Basestation
For civil communications it can be used for police, oil companies, post companies etc.
The working range is 1.6 tot 10 MHz
The HF outputpower is CW 0,78 to 1.1 Watt
AM 0.44 to 0.84 Watt
The set can float and is tropicalized
De set was manufactured from 1944 to 1966

PYE WIRELESS SET No 62 1944-1966

This is my WS-62 nearly complete with lamp, key, microphone/headset and power supply cable. For transmissions on the SRS frequencies I have two Xtals 3575 KHz (CW) en 3705 KHz (AM).

This is the aerialbase, which I unfortunately not posessed. If anyone can help me with this item, I'll be very greatfull.
